Bi-Metallic Lugs
Bi-metallic lugs are specialized electrical connectors used to safely join aluminium cables to copper busbars or components. The barrel material is aluminium with purity equal to or greater than 99.5% and the palm is copper which is friction welded to achieve the best possible transition between the copper palm and aluminium barrel. Barrels are capped and filled with grease so as to avoid oxidation of the Aluminium. The range includes cable lugs to suit conductor range from 10mm² to 630mm².
